"Many
(of our) counselors have collected data on changes
in student behavior and school performance. The positive
results are impressive.
I give Christian Moore and the Why Try program my highest recommendation.
. ."
When
using the WhyTry program in a group environment, we have
found the use of experiential activities to be helpful
in increasing participation and learning among those
involved. As a result of our experience we have created
a set of activities as an
addition to our program.
For each analogy used in the workbook we have included
at least two different activities that can be used to help support the principles being
taught .
The activities include illustrations and diagrams combined with a
list of required materials and detailed instructions on how they should be
presented.
They also include a list of discussion questions to be used as a follow-up
to the activity for processing the experience.
The WhyTry Hands-on Experiential Activities Kits are now available.
